Delete your account

Email hello@hakken.me from the address your account is registered under, with the subject “Delete my account”. That's it — the email address is how we verify the request is yours, so no other details are needed. We'll confirm once it's done, within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Everything. Your account details (name, email, and — if you signed in with Google — your Google account id), your courses and learning progress, checkpoint answers, interview and tutor chat history, and usage records. Deletion is permanent — we can't restore a deleted account, and a new account started later begins from scratch.

Nothing that identifies you stays in the product. Standard technical logs (requests and errors) age out of our systems on their own short retention schedule, and records we're legally required to keep — for example, tax records tied to payments, if you ever made one — are kept only as long as the law requires.
